Girl in Red II

Of all the photos taken recently by this artist, this is one of my favourites. I have the most connection visually with the artist in this moment. I really like the use of shadow, it gives contrast and brings out the subject and her soul even more. There is mystique in this photo. The colours of the dress, flowers, hair and make up are in stark contrast to the pale background. For me a photo is a message or a story and this photo tells me that the lady in red is not a happy one but rather sad and melancholy.
