Slowly coiling in intricate schemes
So alone I'm trapped in prison cells
Slipping deeper into maddened dreams

Swaying in chaotic splendors spawn
Spewing forth sickening designs
Salivating and slithering upon
Slippery slopes and thinning lines

Sweetening serpents tongues
Surely not as abstruse as thought
Saturated as smoke filled lungs
Shrouded in tasteless ends begot

Suffering from lies of sentiment
Sewn together then torn apart
Sure to be my mortal determent
Shattering my still and slowing heart

Still hurting me.You touch me and I'm still cold.

It's the nature of things to forget,
Last I remember you're a silhouette.

We're racing against the echoes.

Shaded in hues of red and green,
Deep between the covers and unseen.

I never considered it falling apart.

You can't love something you never knew,
And if you say you did I know it's untrue.

We're nothing but a shadow of regret.

Now I've become stagnate in your mind.
I'm trapped in this cage and can't unwind.

Your words do slither ever closer.

It's a shame I can't just get you out,
You've filled my mind with crawling doubt.
